The boss of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, has further raised the credibility of VBank, Nigeria’s first fully virtual bank by extending generosity to a woman who lied about the bank’s free of charge transaction promise. VBank, a digital banking revolution, prides itself for zero service charges for transactions on its platform.
It all started when Don Jazzy posted comments about VBank on his twitter handle trying to promote VBank and a woman reacted by insinuating that Don Jazzy was lying about the bank’s services and charges.
According to the woman, who complained to Don Jazzy online, she claimed charges were deducted when she made a transaction on VBank.
But because of the confidence in the bank’s credibility, Don Jazzy challenged the lady to show him evidence of the transaction and deduction charges she claimed. He added that he would dash her the some of 100,000 Naira if she could present any evidence online but she was unable to provide any evidence.
Being the generous person he is, Don Jazzy still went ahead to give the woman the complete sum of 100,000 Naira to the astonishment of his online audience who wondered why he still gave her the money. Don Jazzy said he gave her the full sum even though she lied to show how much trust and confidence he reposes on his Vbank and its operations.
VBank is currently reshaping the way virtual banking is done in Nigeria.
