Residents of Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State and its environs had a memorable Ramadan celebration over the weekend when customer-centric telecommunication network, 9mobile, thrilled them with entertainment and rewards courtesy of its family bonding initiative, Moretalk Family Funfair.
The funfair was promoted as a platform for families, friends and loved ones to bond together and promote fun, joy and accord, for residents of different communities living within the state.
Living up to its billing, the funfair was indeed an excitement and fun galore as inhabitants of Ilorin trooped en-masse to Kwara Mall, venue of the event, to savour the rich array of activities packaged by 9mobile, in making the historic city’s celebration of end of this year’s Ramadan truly memorable.
Among the activities featured at the Moretalk Family Funfair was the breathtaking music performance by a local artiste, Hajia Rasheedat Adebayo, as she held the fun seekers spellbound by her delectable voice and rhythm.
There were also games, dance competitions, question and answer sessions as well as raffle draws, thereby enabling many of the residents to win fantastic prizes including LED television sets, microwave cookers, and refrigerators; amongst other fabulous gifts.
