Lush Hair attachments from the stables of Lucky Fibres PLC has collaborated with the Exquisite Ladies of The Year (ELOY) Awards to celebrate Nigerian women from different walks of life.
The glamorous event held in Lagos is the 10th edition of the ELOY Awards. It has 21 award categories for women who through their reputation and influence has made the society a better place.
Lush Hair attachment- a fashion and lifestyle brand- sponsored two categories out of the 21 award categories. The Fashion Designer of the Year Category of the ELOY Awards sponsored by Lush Hair attachments had seven nominees: Nonninstics, Style Temple, Tubo, Moofa Fashions, Wani Fuga, Imad Eduso and Gozel Green. Tubo won the category amidst applause.
The Actress of the Year Category of the award, which was sponsored by Lush Hair attachment- nominated Mercy Johnson Okorie for her role in Seven and a Half Dates, Toyin Abraham in Ghost and a Tout, Bimbo Ademoye in Backup Wife, Bisola Aiyeola in Payday, Zainab Balogun in Sylvia, Chioma Omeruah in Crazy People and Bukunmi Oluwashina in Ranti mi. Mercy Johnson Okorie won the category.
Congratulating the winners of the awards, the Brand Manager, Lush Hair, Sukhmbir Pannu revealed that the two categories were sponsored because it is an industry in Nigeria that has supported and allow women to express their creativity.

In a statement made by the organiser of the Eloy Award, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Exquisite Magazine, Tewa Onasanya, said Eloy awards are meant to celebrate and bring to limelight hard-working women who against all odds have thrived in their chosen fields and careers. Onasanya said: “ELOY Awards is an award for recognition, honour and respect. This evening is for hard working ladies to get celebrated for having done great, not just for themselves, but also for the society.”
The winner of the Fashion Designer of the Year Award, Creative Director of Tubo, Sandrah Tubobereni, received Lush products from Lush Hair, in addition to the award. The surprised winner thanked the organisers of the event and Lush for sponsoring the category.
