Salako-Oyedele Urges Nigerians to Vote APC at Federal, State Level

The Ogun State All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy governorship candidate, Engr. (Mrs.) Noimot Salako-Oyedele, has enjoined the electorate to vote APC at all levels in the 2019 general elections to ensure continuity in the delivery of developmental programmes.
She said it is only the candidates of the party across all levels of government that have demonstrated clear and well-rounded strategic plans of action that could ensure the delivery of developmental projects from start to finish.
Speaking in a media interview after a meeting of APC women leaders in Abeokuta, during the week, Salako-Oyedele asked electorate to cast ballot for only APC candidates at the polls.
The deputy governorship candidate expressed confidence that Nigerians  would vote massively for President Muhammadu Buhari and the Ogun State APC governorship candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun, because of their track records and experiences.
Salako-Oyedele wished those that have  left the party luck, affirming that APC was the political party to beat in Ogun State and the only truly democratic, people-oriented party in the state with genuine large followers.
“APC is the party of Ogun State people; you can see the register of the party. APC is a big party in Ogun State, we are one family. Of course, there are other small parties that are struggling”, she said.
As the most honoured woman in the next administration in Ogun State if elected, Salako-Oyedele assured women  of equitable delivery of the dividends of democracy.
She said women constitute over 50 per cent of the voting population in Ogun State and Nigeria, and appealed to them to mobilise as many as possible to vote for Abiodun in the upcoming election.
Cross section of women at the meeting appreciated the deputy governorship candidate for being passionate about issues that are of concern to
women such as economic empowerment, maternal healthcare, children’s education and youth development among others.
