INFOGRAPHICS: Advert Spend for Nigerian Banks – JUNE 2019

P+ Measurement Services, one of Nigeria’s leading media intelligence, audit agency and MediaTrak, undertook the analysis of the Nigerian Banking Industry Advertisement spend and placement in the month of June 2019.

The report shows that there was a decrease of N35,715,562 in the total Nigerian Banking Industry media adverts spend in June compared to the month of May in 2019.

TV media adverts in the Banking industry for June saw a decrease in media spend, compared to May 2019, with a reduced spend of N26,494,268, while Radio media adverts in June also saw a decrease in media spend, compared to May 2019, with a reduced spend of N19,576,488, but the Print media adverts in the Banking industry for June saw an increase in media spend, compared to May 2019, with an increased spend of N10,355,194.

Working with a sample size of 21 commercial banks who advertised on media types such as Television, Radio and Print Media, the measurement intelligence company was able to show an analysis of what banks spend more on advertising, and what media they spend their advert money on.

This report will go a long way to assist banks in evaluating their spending, competition spending, industry spending and measure the RoI impact of their company. The report will also enable the media to assess its relevance in the banking industry with modalities to attract more adverts in the banking industry by improving its services and platforms.
