SBI Media Set For Annual Media Workshop’ In Lagos

Call for entries open for interested participants

SBI Media, the multiple award-winning media agency, has announced its 3rd annual media workshop and training for Nigerian youths slated for the 3rd of December 2022 with the theme “Media In A Blockchain Era” at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos.

SBI Media Workshop has continued to vest the youth between the ages of 18 and 35 with practical skills and training in the media space for three years and still counting. The media agency, in its mission to drive empowerment and financial freedom for Nigerian youths, will feature great minds both in media and the crypto field to expose and train participants on the current and future of the media within the blockchain era.

Speaking about the workshop, SBI Media Group CEO Rotimi Bankole expressed delight in the sustainability of the initiative, while stressing that SBI Media Group put together the platform to enable aspiring youths to connect with experienced minds to learn.

In his word: “The workshop was birth out of a passion and yearning for intervention to reduce the current unemployment within and among the youths. For us, if the young generations are mobilized with skills that can fetch them the financial resources within their reach, particularly with the tools they are most familiar with, productivity level will be high and the unemployment rate in the country will reduce over time”.

Alison Oyome, the Group’s General Manager, in his comment, stated that “blockchain penetration is a global trend that is extending into the African space; there are countless opportunities to latch into for engagement and self-employment that would lead to productivity.

“This year’s edition of the media workshop is targeted at youths with an Interest in exploring media and how the era of blockchain is impacting it, value creation would be explored in the two areas for economic strength” said Samuel Odusami, Assistant General Manager, SBI Media Group.

This year training is supported by Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange. The training aims for young Nigerian youths who will take advantage to explore the media hands-on learnings and how the blockchain era is impacting it with an established network of mentors who will guide participants

SBI Media Group took this initiative as a corporate intervention program in line with promoting youth development and bridging the unemployment gaps in the nation.”

A CSR initiative owned and fully funded by SBI Media Group targeted at young Nigerians all over the country. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted with other registration procedures and guidance.
